The vestibular system includes parts of the inner ear and brain that control balance. The vestibular system can be compromised due to infection, injury, tumors or age-related degeneration. Our therapists provide a vestibular rehabilitation program that helps patients re-train their brains to recognize and process signals from the vestibular system in coordination with information from vision and other senses to improve balance and centered movement.
