Back pain is a reality of life for most people. According to the National Institute of Health up to 80% of people will experience back pain at some point in their life. The cause can be postural in nature, improper body mechanics or even traumatic in nature. For some the pain will be temporary, but for others it will require medical attention and even time off work. When an accident occurs at work, it not only affects the employee but also their co-workers and the employer.
Physical therapy provides a way to get back to work safely and quickly. ProHealth Partners offers the newest techniques to deal with pain and dysfunction. We also offer Transitional Work Therapy which helps get a worker back to work quickly. It involves onsite rehabilitation that takes into account not only the worker but the environment in which they work. Real job activities can be simulated, progressed and modified by industrial therapists to assist the injured worker back to full duty. Contact ProHealth Partners to see how our other industrial services can help facilitate an improved return to work.
